DIY e36 injector rebuild

Supplies needed:

Pliers

Flathead screw drivers

Rebuild kit with appropriate pintle caps my 328is used 3mm pintle caps.

Supplies.

Take off skinny metals clips off the injectors.

Take off larger metal clips.

Remove injectors. When removing fuel will spray from the fuel rail.

Take off all rubber seals, plastic spacer, and pintle cap.

Screw a screw into the top of the injector to remove filter. Use pliers to remove the screw. If metal ring stays inside but thr filter is out use the pliers to remove it.

Install new filter. Use a hard surfce to slide it in.

Reassemble everything in the right order and intall the injectors.

How to remove e36 starter

LSupplies needed:

3/8th ratchet

E14 socket

Flex elbow extension

3 6inch extensions

This is what the tool looks like assembled.

This is a two man job one holds and guided the socket socket into the bolt. The other wrenches out the bolts.
